DescriptionWe are a busy High Street Practice and are looking to recruit a solicitor with a minimum of 3+ PQE with experience and capability in dealing with residential and commercial conveyancing, including new builds, commercial leases and the sale and purchase of business property/assets.

The ideal candidate would also be competent in licensing matters and have the ability to undertake work in the Private Client forum, including drafting Wills, LPAs and dealing with the administration of Estates, although this is not essential.

An immediate start would be available however the vacancy is also to coincide with retirement so the ideal candidate would be required to take on board an already established client base with case load. Full time preferred but part time would be considered for the right candidate.

Banking Solicitor, Sintons LLP

DescriptionWe have a vacancy for a full time Banking Solicitor (0 – 4 years PQE approx) to work within our banking team.
Suitable applicants will be high calibre candidates who have excellent academics as well as banking and finance experience from a leading practice. This is a new role for this growing team who are advisers to a range of lenders and borrowers. The successful candidate would work closely with the partners in the banking team and would be involved in marketing and business development. You will also work in a friendly and open environment where teamwork is essential.
Key aspects of this role include:
• Providing advice and guidance to clients by email, telephone or in face to face meetings.
• Drafting a wide range of documentation in relation to the department’s work.
• Adhering to any agreed client service standards and deadlines.
• Contributing to business development initiatives.
Requirements
If you are already qualified, you will currently specialise in Banking or a specialist Finance role and have some experience in banking law to include acquisition finance for MBO/MBIs, acting for lenders and borrowers, corporate banking, asset finance, security and priority issues and syndicated financing structures.
Newly-qualified lawyers must have undertaken a seat in either Banking law or in a Finance-related area of law and have a genuine desire to specialise in Banking.
Good communication and IT skills are essential as is managing expectations across a wide range of competing needs. Attention to detail, a good work ethic and a willingness to cover a variety of tasks and work outside core hours on occasion will be necessary. Candidates must be professional, with an excellent telephone manner and be confident in dealing with clients, as well as interacting with other members of the department.
