Alexia Knight Talk: “Reining in rogue employees – is there a remedy?”

Bio: Alexia is a specialist commercial advocate, with substantial experience in the fields of banking and financial services, civil fraud, general contractual disputes, and professional negligence. She is frequently instructed advise and act for clients seeking, or facing, injunctive action, and has extensive trial experience.

Lisa Lacob Talk: “Legal Professional Privilege in 2018 – a victory for common sense?”

Bio: Lisa has a general commercial practice with particular expertise in banking and finance, commercial fraud and company law. She previously worked as a non-contentious banking solicitor at Linklaters. Lisa regularly acts for banks on general commercial and retail banking, mortgage lending and professional negligence claims and has also acted for Claimants in a number of financial products mis-selling claims.

SpeakersPatrick Goodings and Kate Fenwick from the Trinity Chambers Family Team have kindly agreed to deliver the above seminar as part of the Newcastle upon Tyne Law Society Education Programme

Patrick joined Trinity Chambers in October 2016 after a number of years practising from a leading Family Law set on the Western Circuit. Patrick practises exclusively in Family Law, with a strong emphasis on public law children. He routinely conducts multi – day, complex hearings and is an experienced Public Law practitioner representing Local Authorities, Parents and the Children’s Guardian.

Kate practises exclusively in the field of family law and Court of Protection and has gained extensive exposure to all aspects of children work, including private and public law cases at all stages of proceedings and in all tiers of the Family Court. She regularly conducts multi-day hearings.
